• Where is Extrema?

  You can find Extrema Outdoor on the beautiful grounds of De Plas in Houthalen-Helchteren. Deep forests, a clear lake - including a beach - and enough space for numerous exciting areas.

  The navigation address is Binnenvaartstraat, Houthalen-Helchteren.

• What are the opening hours?

  • FRIDAY: 17h – 00h
  • SATURDAY: 12h – 00h
  • SUNDAY: 12h – 00h
  • Afterparty on Friday, Saturday & Sunday from 00h00 until 03h00.

• I’ll visit the festival from outside Belgium, what do I do?

  Coming from Brussels Airport (Zaventem)? Hop on the train - take the escalator downstairs and take the train to Hasselt. Please contact us at info@extrema.be if you have any questions.

  In Hasselt you can jump on one of our shuttle busses starting from Friday, directly to the festival.

• Is Extrema for young & old?

  You can only enter the festival and campsite if you are 18 years or in the year you’ll become 18. Be sure to bring a valid ID. So don’t take the risk and show your ID before entering Extrema.

• Types of tickets

  • • A Holiday Ticket grants access to the festival, campsite and afterparties on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
  • • A Weekend Ticket grants access to the festival on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. No access to the campsite or afterparties.
  • • A Day Ticket never grants access to the campsite or afterparties, this is your entrance only.
  • • A Saturday/Sunday Ticket bought in the pre line-up ticket sale grants access to one event day only. You are able to use the ticket on either the Saturday or Sunday but not both days. Once the ticket has been redeemed on a day it is not valid for the other day.
  • • Please note that all the other tickets will be available shortly. Once the line-up is released, all tickets will be available including VIP-tickets, Seperate Camping tickets, etc.
